I really like your writings and can appreciate what you said.
My earlier years have been hunting with bird dogs and over the past 3 yrs I have been looking into the curs because I love dogs, hunting, training, and living with them.

Hello!

I came across your blog while googling 'Mountain Cur Training' and was hoping you could help me out.
I recently adopted a pup from the humane society and they said she's a German Shepherd mix. I see the GS in her but after some research I came to the conclusion that she is mixed with a mountain cur (I adopted her in Tampa but she came from a shelter in Tennessee.)

I was wondering if you could confirm this? Happy to send you pics and describe her behavior thus far - Shes 3 months old. I've had her for a month :)
